Grant Information
The primary goal of the Westshore Community Foundation is to provide grants to a wide range of programs within the boundaries of the communities served. The Foundation raises and accepts monies from donors who have chosen to invest in our community leaving a legacy for the future. Donations are held in a perpetual endowment called the Community Fund. The capital is never spent, leaving the principal to continue to grow, ensuring a lasting source of monetary support for our community’s charitable causes. Every year the Foundation distributes interest income from the Community Fund as grants to local organizations looking to encourage and sustain collaboration between citizens and organizations with a focus on emerging needs and new opportunities within our communities. These grants play a unique role, contributing to the growth and vitality of our communities.
